Stu Peacock is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has been to the Summit of Everest three times, Broad Peak, Cho Oyu and climbed on K2. His other expeditions include: Aconcagua, Khan Tengri, Tien Shan Unclimbed, Alpamayo, Bolivian Peaks, Spantik, Elbrus and Kilimanjaro. He not only leads expeditions but has a strong IT background, maintains our IT systems and works as one of our Expedition Logistics Managers. Stu has climbed over 8000m a total of 7 times and the first Brit to summit Everest via the North Ridge 3 times. |
Mike Wynne has over 30 years of experience in the adventure travel business and has trekked, travelled and led adult, student and family groups to more destinations than he can remember - Morocco being his speciality. Mike retired from the companies he founded Walks Worldwide and Schools Worldwide, back in 2010 and has joined Adventure Peaks to develop and be responsible for our own treks and schools program. When not behind his desk Mike will either be away leading another trip or out and about in the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales. |
Anna Hindmarch works with Mike & Stu as a Logisitics and Administration Manager for our Treks and Expeditions. Anna spends much of her spare time exploring the Lake District fells and has been on several treks abroad including Everest Base Camp, Kilimanjaro, Cotopaxi and Mount Toubkal. |
Greg Fawkner-Corbett manages our main retail premises alongside Angie and is our men's range and equipment buyer ensuring we have the very best stock to support your journey. he is happy to answer any questions regarding the kit needed for your specific trip. |
Angie Hall-Aspland is a mountain photographer who, with her partner David published the successful Landscape for the Imagination debut book. When not out in the mountains, Angie can be found running the day to day retail side of Adventure Peaks with Greg and, is the Womens’ Range buyer for the company and in conjunction with other members of staff, advises prospective expedition members and customers on the specifics of technical equipment required for their outdoor activities. |
Chris Falshaw - You may occasionally see Chris in the Adventure Peaks shop but his main responsibility is running our children’s shop. Chris joins us with a wealth of outdoor retail experience and is a keen walker. |

Matt Butler is passionate about bringing newcomers to the sport, he spent two years working with disabled clients and has gone on to work with a variety of family and school groups. Based at our Climbing Wall in Ambleside he welcomes the opportunity of promoting climbing in the Lakes. |
Simon Bennett joined the Adventure Peaks team to manage the new Ambleside climbing wall. Simon’s first love has always been Rock Climbing and it has taken him many places around the UK and internationally too. He has now settled in the Lakes and spends most of his time enjoying all that the Lakeland climbing has to offer. Simon is an SPA Climbing Instructor and Mountain Leader and currently working towards his Mountain Instructor Award. |
