A good all round introduction course to Alpine Mountaineering
Course
Information:
This is a good course for the fit mountain walker/scrambler who wants
to develop the skills to travel beyond the British mountains. You will
be given instruction by our professional guides on the use of crampons
and ice axe, glacial movement and crevasse rescue, ropework and the
use of alpine mountain huts.You will tackle a number of stunning alpine
summits such as the Aiguille Rouge (2800m),Aiguilles Crochues, Aiguille
du Tour (3554m) the Arete des Cosmiques, La Petite Aiguille Verte (3152m)
and Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248). Guide Ratio 1:2.
Included: Instruction, Guides expenses,
Hut accommodation (half board), Valley accommodation (B&B)
Not included: Insurance, Transport to
Chamonix, Lunches and valley evening meals, Telepheriques approx £50

Mont Blanc Extension
Extend your stay for our Mont Blanc Extension
This extension is for those who have completed an alpine introductory/training
course and would like to extend their
stay to attempt Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain.
Extends your stay by four days. Guide Ratio 1:2.

ALPINE
ORIENTATION DAY
Based in Ambleside and Scotland, this course is for those who have never
been to the Alps before. It will help you understand what to expect,
the equipment you will need and time to ask any questions. You will
need to have booked one of our Alpine courses to attend.
