Course Information
This course is aimed at regular hill walkers who want to broaden their experience to include glacial regions of the Alps as well as those
considering trips to the Greater Ranges. Our base is in the Swiss Alpine
village of Arolla, which provides some of the best introductory
mountains in the Alps. They have everything to offer close at hand: rock,
glaciers, ice, super peaks close to 4000m and brilliant scenery.The
course will focus on teaching the key skills required for safe and
successful mountaineering in Alpine areas and will provide an excellent
foundation for further alpine courses and many of our expeditions.
Included: Instruction, Guides expenses, Hut accommodation (half
board), Valley accommodation (B&B)
Not included: Insurance, Transport to Arolla, Lunches and valley evening
meals.

Mont Blanc Extension
Extend your stay for our Mont Blanc Extension
This extension is for those who have completed an alpine
introductory/training course and would like to extend their
stay to
attempt Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain. Extends your
stay by four days. Guide Ratio 1:2.
Included: Instruction, Guides expenses, Hut accommodation (half
board), Valley accommodation (B&B)
Not included: Insurance, Transport to Chamonix, Lunches and valley
evening meals, Telepherique approx £30
