Winter Skills Course & Munros

Background
An ideal course for hill walkers who want to learn the essential skills needed to enjoy winter walking. A number of classic Munros will be climbed during the course. Good level of hill walking fitness required.
The course will cover:
- Basic snowcraft.
- Use of ice axe and crampons
- Ice axe arrest
- Ascent of some classic Munro Ridges.
- Winter mountain navigation and route planning.
- Winter weather and avalanche avoidance.
If 2 people book together, the cost will be reduced to £495 each for 6 days and £250 for 3 days.
