Altitude 2499m, Duration 8 days, Grade 2B (grades)

Poland is a Winter Wonderland and is a Fantastic Place to Explore For The Winter Hill Walker

Background

A fantastic week exploring the high summits of the Tatra Mountains which separate Poland and Slovakia. There are over 25 summits above 2500m combining alpine scenery, great lakes, good trails, comfortable refuges and outstanding views. Its just a wonderful week of walking, including Rysy (2499m) Polands highest peak! You also get time to relax in the alpine village of Zakopane and the historic city of Krakow.
In Winter these snow covered peaks provide many great opportunities for the winter hill walker. The trip is ideal for those who have completed a winter skills course and want to explore further afield. We are based in comfortable and scenically located mountain refugees.
