Learn alpine skills in the unforgettable location that is the Tien Shan in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Background
This course of alpine training is set in a magnificent and unspoilt area far away from the crowded European Alps, in the beautiful mountains of Ala Ache close to Bishkek. It provides a fully inclusive and cost effective way to learn the essential alpine skills whilst also developing an understanding of expeditions and experiencing a different culture. You will tackle a number of stunning 4000m alpine summits.
The course will aim to cover -
• Glacier travel & crevasse rescue

• Ascent of two or three peaks (4,000m to 5000m).
