Background
The Annapurna Sanctuary holds some of the most impressive mountain
scenery in Nepal, surrounded by a ring of spectacular mountains,
including Annapurna 1 (8091m), the views are pure awe-inspiring.We
fly from Kathmandu to the picturesque lakeside town of Pokhara.
From here we ascend Poon Hill (3190m) and explore the delights of
the many friendly villages on our way to Machapuchare Base camp
and its impressive peak (often referred to as the 'Fish Tail' peak),
before we reach Annapurna Base Camp our ultimate destination. This
location offers a grand amphitheatre of rock and ice where we have
added an extra day for you to relax, enjoy and absorb this spectacular
arena.

to Pokhara to do a three day wildlife safari in Chitwan National
Park. This includes an unforgettable jeep safari, jungle walk, river
canoe trip and elephant ride combined with a cultural program in
search of rhino or the famous Bengal tiger. The price is inclusive
of hotels/lodges on a B&B basis, all park fees and activities
