K2 And Concordia - 5200m
A superb trek in the heart of Karakoram mountain range that takes you to the glacial junction known as Concordia which is dominated by some of the most stunning peaks in the world including the mighty south face of K2 (8611m), Broad Peak (8047m), Gasherbrum IV (7992m) and Mitre Peak (6010m). Concordia is unquestionably one of the most spectacular camping places on earth. The trek generally follows good trails from the village of Askole through a wilderness of rugged valleys and towering peaks, the scenery becoming gradually more impressive as we work our way up the vast Baltoro Glacier. A little lower but no less spectacular are the sheer granite walls of the Trango Towers and the shapely summit of Masherbrum (7821m) and Chogolisa. Including the option to walk from our camp at Concordia to K2 Base Camp, this universally acclaimed Karakoram trek is well within the capabilities of keen hillwalkers.

K2 Base Camp And Gondogoro La - 5585m
We follow the same route as the Concordia trek up the Baltoro Glacier but we continue up past Broad Peak to K2 Base Camp where we spend a night, allowing time to absorb the unique atmosphere and environment surrounding this unforgettable mountain. Our return trek takes us over the spectacular Gondogoro La, a dramatic high col that affords further stunning views of the Gasherbrum peaks. We purposefully cross this pass in the early hours of the morning so, given good weather, we are rewarded with a tremendous golden sunshine in one of the most dramatic places on earth.
