Mount Logan is the highest mountain in Canada standing at 5,959 meters above sea level .and is an excellent choice for mountaineers looking to experience a high altitude expedition in a remote and inspiring location! It is like climbing Denali without the crowds, the fixed lines or the steep ice walls; it’s simply a hidden gem and a spectacular glacial ascent.
Our route, The Kings Trench, starts with a 1-hour flight to the landing area at 2,800m (9,000ft) from where it is a 16-mile journey to the summit. Six days are spent climbing up the Quintino Sella Galcier to establish an Advanced Base Camp on the 4000m col between Logan and King Peak. A further few days of carries takes you onto the upper mountain and the final camp at 5500m from where the summit bid is made.
