Spantik is a technically straightforward 7000m peak in the Karakoram.
Background
At 7027m, Spantik is currently regarded as
one of the safest and most
straightforward 7000m peaks in the
Karakoram. It provides a stunning and
remote climbing experience far from
regular trekking routes, giving an
immense feeling of satisfaction as you
explore this wonderful area. The dramatic
approach offers unrivalled views of the
Hunza Peaks, Nanga Parbat and eastwards
towards the Baltoro peaks and the
striking silhouette of K2.
Level of support
We have established a good infrastructure
and employ a regular and strong team of
High Altitude Porters and cooks. This
team will work hard to support you but
clients will also be expected to help with
some load carrying especially if we
encounter a period of unstable weather
