Nov The team are now back in the UK. All the Everst BC group reached Kalar Patar. Peter & Joanne met up with their leader George Robertson at Dingboche and then headed up to Island Peak BC. They reached a height of 6100m before having to turn around just 89m short of the summit due to very strong winds. Well done to all considering the conditions they had to endure.

Oct The team had a bit of a delay in Dhaka before arriving in Kathmandu. After a bit of sightseeing and last minute shopping they then flew out to Lukla. They are now at Namche Bazar where they will have a rest day to help with acclimatisation. |
