Elbrus Summit

27th August - SUMMIT SUCCESS! Sean and Andy successfully climbed Dych Tau, the second highest mountain in Europe less than 8 days after climbing Elbrus.

The climb took 5 days and they slept out on the mountain, wrapped in a tent, as the wind was too strong to put it up!  Dych Tau is a technical, Alpine/Himalayan style mountain and they believe this to be only the 2nd ascent in the last 3 years.

They have now left the mountains and are heading to the resort of Sochi, on the Black Sea, for some R&R.

17th August - SUMMIT SUCCESS! 'summits - everyone. The team smashed the route in less than 6 hours from the barrels. All back safe and enjoying the food from our babuska. The weather was perfect and our pictures will surely encourage more visits.' Sean

17th August - 'Just finished 3 glorious days at acclimitisation camp. All summited 4200m, Krumrichi. Spectacular views of Elbrus. Now enjoying kebab and beer before moving to barrels tomorrow.'  Sean

21st June - The team will depart for Russia on the 8th August.
