Nov Everyone is now back safely in Kathmandu
relaxing after a very successful trip.
15th
Nov Well done to the whole team. Yesterday
was a big day. They all summited Island Peak in cold and windy conditions
making it five summits from five. And to cap off a memorable day
J-P proposed to Hanna on the summit! Congratulations from everyone
at Adventure Peaks.
Everyone
is now safely back at base camp and aiming to return to Lukla over
the next three days.
13th
Nov Sean rang in today to say they are all
fine and had a good lunch at Chhujung and are now heading up to
Island Peak Base Camp. Yesturday they summited Pokalde in
the cold, it then snowed for 12 hours straight and the camp site
was specatular site in the morning after the snow.
10th
Nov The team are now in Dingboche preparing
for an ascent of Polkalde. Unfortuently John & Martin have had
to return to Kathmandu but are both fine and being well looked after.
9th
Nov We've had a very broken message from Sean
but everyone is well and they're on schedule. The whole team reached
the top of Kala Patar with some amazing views of Everest. Eight
of the team have also reached the summit of Lobuche East. The other
two stayed at Base Camp but we don't have names yet.
3rd
Nov Sean left a message this morning to say
the team have reached Gokyo Ri, all the team are feeling good and
are relaxing with a nice bowl of soup.
29th
Oct Sean called in today, the team are on
their rest day at Namche. The weather has been great so far and
they had their first views of Everest when they went up to the Everest
View Hotel.
26th
Oct Sean emailed in today the team have now
arrived in Kathmandu, everyone is excited about trip and they are
going to do some last minute shopping this afternoon after a lunch
in the beautiful sun at Northfields cafe.
23rd
Oct The team will depart from the UK
on the 24th October and will all meet up in Kathmandu. |
