December - The team all reached the summit of Kilimanjaro yesterday capturing a spectacular sunrise across the African plains. They are now down at camp 2 and will be back in Moshi tomorrow, well done to all. The group will be home before New Year.
25th
December - The team would like to wish everyone
a very Happy Christmas from Camp 2 on Kilimanjaro. They've just
finished their Christmas dinner in the mess tent with amazing views
out over the plains of Africa.
24th
December - Adam called yesterday. All the
team reached the summit of Mt Meru, they were greeted with a glorious
sunrise as they moved along the summit ridge. After having a rest
day back at the hotel, they will start their ascent of Kilimanjaro
today.
21st December - Adam phoned in from the first hut on Mt Meru yesterday. The weather is overcast and drizzly at the moment, but everyone is well and enjoying the trek and scenery. |
