Jan - Summit Success! At 6.30am Jerry, David, Antoinette and Adam summitted Mt Kilimanjaro in very cold and windy conditions. Peter, still suffering from fatigue, stayed down at High Camp and celebrated his birthday with breakfast in bed. The team were thrilled with their success as only 15% of groups made it to the top because of the wintry conditions.
14th
Jan - The team are now back at the hotel after climbing Mt Meru, Antoinette, David & Adam were greeted with a wonderful sunrise at the top of Mt Meru. Peter and Jeremy reached Rhino's point and decided to head back down, so that Peter could save his energy for Kilimanjaro. If all goes according to plan the team will aim to summit on Peters 75th birthday. So we wish them all well, especially Peter for then. All the team are in good health, they have an early start tomorrow where they will follow the Machame route.

Jan - The team will depart tomorrow for Tanzania.
