16th
October - Today the group have reached
Lava Tower (4600m) on Mt Kilimanjaro. Everyone is feeling
well. They will move to Barafu Camp tomorrow with plans to
summit on 18th October.
11th
October - All the team have reached
the trekking summit of Pt Lenanna on Mt Kenya. The team are now
heading down to Old Moses camp.
9th
October - Jennie, James and Karen
have all been up to 4500m today on Mt Kenya. Andrew decided to stay
at camp and enjoy a rest day. They will all make a summit
bid tonight from Shipton's camp. All are in good spirits and
enjoying their adventure.
6th
October - The team have all safely
arrived in Nairobi and met up with our local guide Daniel. After
a good nights rest in the Heron Hotel they'll be away north, across
the equator to begin their trek up Mount Kenya.
