Gabriel stayed at Chamlang BC waiting for the Baruntse team to arrive, while Cio, Bob & Darren headed up over the Amphulapsa La in order to tackle Island Peak. Both Bob & Darren were both successful in reacvhing the summit of Island Peak so well done to them both. The team are now back at Namche Bazar, they are still on course to return back home on the 4th November.

22nd Oct Success  All the team except Cio & Jim reached the summit of Mera Peak yesterday. We understand Jim has had a bit of a chest bug and has now decided to return to Kathmandu. Well done to all the team for their efforts.

19th Oct  The group have now reached Mera La.  Everyone is well and in good spirits.  They will make a summit attempt in the next few days.

15th Oct  The team were delayed by a couple of days in Kathmandu as the Lukla flight was not operating due to bad weather. George (Everest BC Leader) sent a text message this morning saying they had now reached Namche Bazar.

10th Oct  The team have arrived safely in Kathmandu, in good spirits and ready for their adventure.  They will spend the day exploring the sights and sounds of this vibrant city, visiting the World Heritage Site of Durbar Square and the famous Monkey Temple.
