25th
August - SUCCESS - Rich emailed in today to say that all the team reached the summit of Stok Kangri yesterday morning. It took just under 10 hours to get up and down from base camp despite some very bad weather at times. The team were fortunate to get some break in the cloud at the top and got some stunning views. The team have now returned to Leh for some R&R and will be flying back to Delhi on the 27th.
We'd also like to wish Colin & his wife a very happy 35th wedding anniversary from all the AP team.
13th
August - Everyone has enjoyed the acclimatisation
time in Leh whilst soaking up the culture and visiting local temples
with fine examples of early Buddhist paintings. The team will
begin their trek today.
10th
August - Rich called in today to say that
the team had arrived safely in Leh. All the team are fine and enjoying
a nice relaxing day today.
4th
August - The team will depart on the 9th August. |
