Kilimanjaro Rongai Route 3rd February 2012 Trek News
Posted in Current Trips
8th Feb: The team are currently resting at Kibo in preparation for their summit bid tonight. They are all looking forward to a hearty brunch after reaching the summit.
6th Feb: Robert O was not been feeling 100% yesterday and today he has decided to descend. It is not serious and he should make a quick recovery at lower altitudes. Robert did reach Kikelewa at 3600m so well done to him for reaching that point. The rest of the team are fit and well.
3rd Feb: The team have departed the UK from Manchester and London. Unfortunately delays with bad weather in Amsterdam meant that Rob could not fly from Newcastle. There was no possibility of getting him on another flight in time to catch up the group before they depart for the mountain, so the decision was made for the team to continue with just our local guides and porters. We will try and keep this news page updated via our local agent.
