9th Feb: Chris has decided not to attempt the summit after feeling unwell. He has now descended back down to the valley and is relaxing in the hotel. Paul & John reached the summit and are now looking forward to pleasantries of the hotel.

20th Jan: Chris and the team are now back down at the hotel in Moshi and all is well. They are now looking forward to their safari/return journey.

16th Oct- The majority of the team summited Kilimanjaro- Subash, Roy & Jason turned round just short of Gillmans point, so well done to the group! The team also enjoyed a good final meal together which ended up in a sing song!

16th Sep - Dean eamiled in today to say that all the team reached the summit of Kilimanjaro. They are now back down in the valley having a rest before their flight home. Well done to all the team.

11th Sep - All the team reached the summit of Kilimanjaro this morning at 6.30 am. Dean said that the whole team made a great effort to overcome the challenges that Kilimanjaro presented to them.

10th Sep - The team have just got down to Mweka gate. 6 out of 8 of the group reached the summit. Everyone is tired but looking forward to the hotel. Well done to all.

29th Aug - Mike sent a message to say that the team made their summit bid today, four of the team plus Mike reached the top. They are now all back down at camp and looking forward to a relaxing night in the hotel.

25th Aug - The team have descended to Baranco Camp after spending the night at Moir Camp. All is well with the group and they are enjoying the views.

12th Aug - Carrie has sent a message to say the team are now down at top camp after their summit bid. Will and Fred decided to turn round at just over 5000m, the rest of the team along with 3 local guides managed to bag the summit. Well done to all for their efforts. After a short rest and a bite to eat they will descend to a lower camp and then walk back to the park gate tomorrow.

14th Jan - 100% SUCCESS - The team set off for the summit at 12am on the morning of the 13th. Making strong progress they all made it to Gilman's point by 5am. They continued up to Uhuru peak reaching the summit at 6.45am. After experiencing a fantastic sunrise on a clear morning and spending a short time taking photos at the top they headed back down to Kibo hut, arriving at 9am. A short while later after some rest and a bite to eat they descended to Horombo hut camp in 3 hours where they earned a good nights sleep, helped along by some celebratory alcohol. On the 14th the group trekked down to the park gate and traveled back to the hotel.

9th Jan - The final team members flew home in the early hours of this morning.

4th Jan SUCCESS - All the team reached the summit of Uhuru Peak on Kilimanjaro this morning. The team are tired but jubilant. They will have their last night of camping at Mweka tonight before trekking back down to Mweka gate and then travelling back to Moshi. A big 'well done' to all the team.
