21 Nov: Latest email from Liam: We are now in Namche and all is well. A few of us had a walk up to Ama Dablam basecamp yesterday and the others had a day resting in Pangboche. Today we got to Namche and plan to get to Phakding tomorrow. Lukla the next and then fly out the day after that.

19th Nov - Liam called in to say that all the team (bar one member who turned back at approx 5700m), successfully summited Island Peak yesterday. They had fantastic weather and conditions were absolutely brilliant for their summit day. The group are all feeling great and apart from a few coughs and colds are all in great spirits as they leave Base Camp today; heading for Dingboche. Liam will call in again in a couple of days to report updates.

24th Nov The team are back in Kathmandu safe and well. They have a few days in Kathmandu to enjoy the sights before they return home.

20th Nov Chris plus 7 of the team reached the summit of Island Peak. Richard decided not to attempt the summit and stayed at BC. The team are now heading back down to meet Dan at Dingboche and will trek out over the next few days.

24th Nov The team are back in Kathmandu safe and well. They have a few days in Kathmandu to enjoy the sights before they return home.

18th Oct  The satellite phone signal wasn't great but we've just got the news the team made the summit of Mera Peak on Saturday. They're now heading north up the Hunku Valley aiming to cross the Amphu Labsta in a couple of days on their way to Island Peak

27/10/06 - 11am GMT:Today we received news that Ian has picked up a chest infection, he's taking antibiotics and is OK, but it does mean he will not be able to make an attempt on Island Peak. Ian & Edwina have now decided to travel Chitawan National Park & Pokrah for the remainder of their stay in Nepal.

23/10/06 - 10am GMT:All the team have reached the summit of Mera Peak. The team endured some heavy snowfall during the trek into Base Camp, but the weather took a turn for the better as the team prepared to ascend the peak. Alex, Ian & Edwina will now move on to Island Peak, while James & Edward return to Kathmandu

Update 05/11/05: Success on Mera & Island Peaks.The team reported they had spectacular sunrise views of the surrounding Himalayan Peaks in the clear morning light.
