DMM Deadman

The Deadman is the most compact device designed to protect steep snow slopes. The DMM version is the best compromise between holding power and size. Powder coated in a bright colour for easy location and with a stainless steel striker plate to take the hammering only an ice axe can give. And for all you wire geeks we use (7x19) 4mm galvanised wire.

It is imperative that the Deadman is placed correctly to ensure maximum holding power. A well placed Deadman will dig itself deeper under load, whilst a poorly placed device will pull out very easily.
