This insulated inflatable mat is a step above the rest, providing the best available comfort for an inflatable mattress and the warmest thermal properties using down insulation. It is perfect for Arctic and high altitude nights out in the cold.

The Down Mat 9 has a R-Value of 8. At about the same weight a standard 4 cm self-inflating mat only has a R-Value of 3. Hence needing a lighter sleeping bag and reducing your overall bulk on a long carry or sled.
