The Grivel Salamander XL is a helmet designed for alpine, rock and ice climbing. It features an outer shell in ABS protecting against penetration from rock and ice. The inner is manufactured from a layer in shock absorbing polystyrene foam which protects against impacts.
The helmet can be adjusted to fit a head circumference between 58 and 66 centimetres using a single dial and features an attachment system for a headtorch.
