The Millet Low Impact Triaxle 10mm has been designed to be a durable environmentally friendly single rope for both indoor and outdoor climbing.

The Low Impact Triaxle has an extended lifespan by the 25% more cover mass thanks to a sheath of 2 x 32 strand construction (compared to most single ropes for climbing, which have one 48-strand sheath).  Two-thirds of the sheath threads does not undergo colouring, again reducing the ropes carbon footprint as it eliminates the need for the threads to be coloured, dried and transported. Moreover, the HYDROPHOBIC process has been eliminated on the ropes core which means energy saved by not polymerising at 115°.

The rope's package has been simply folded and printed using one colour.

Although a 70 metre rope is overkill for almost all climbs in the UK, it is ideal for sport climbing holidays abroad where routes are often 35 meters in length. It also allows for the rope to be chopped when it does finally start to show some signs of wear while maintaining a decent sized rope.
