This rucksack from Millet is the ideal winter backpack, the durability of this bag will withstand most rock faces and abuse that the mountains will give.  The Crampon pouch on the front allows you to store your crampons in an area that is protected and safe.  It has a side entry zip which allow quick easy access to your possesions at the bottom of the bag. With wide ski loops it let you carry your skies on the side on the bag to top, then you get to enjoy your route down!  This is also availablein a 50 litre version, which has a a zip around the front to allow you open the bag up fully from the front, and it's ten litres bigger!
