New for Spring 2011 the Scarpa Kinesis Gore Tex Boot combines Scarpa’s renowned quality and performance with the brand new ActivFit technology.

The new ActivFit program has been in development for several years in order to perfect the technology. Combining five specific areas; Last, Sole, Ergonomic Design and Footbed, defining a new standard in instant comfort.

The Kinesis Gore-Tex is a great three season boot which boasts a GTX lining and a brand new Scarpa last. The BD  last has been formulated for the male foot and provides maximum foot hold and allows greater toe volume and increased fit, allowing a good foot rolling action for ease of forward propulsion and comfort. While the new heel design ensures the foot is locked into place for optimal fit and performance. The ActivFit technology also gives the Kinesis an ultra fast speed lacing system which let’s you cinch in the boot quickly from the toe to the top, auto fit foam padding that wraps the ankle and a V-Flex collar around the top of the boot to provide maximum freedom of movement.
