Background
You will have the opportunity to develop
alpine skills, walk on Iceland’s largest
icecap and ascend the highest peak
Hvannadalashnukur (2119m) in the
Skaftafell National Park, whilst being able to
see and absorb the sights that make Iceland
so spectacular: volcanoes, lava fields, hot
springs, geysers, icebergs, glacial walking
plus ascending a number of peaks with
breathtaking panoramas: Mount Hekla
(1491m), Volcano Laki , Mt Kristinartindar
(1222m). No previous experience is required
except a good level of fitness is essential.
