The team is limited to 6 climbers and we provide leaders/guides on a 1:2 ratio (3 guides including British leader). Our aim is to reduce the physical hardship and create maximum flexibility to boost your summit chance as we can more easily deal with clients varying abilities/fitness weather. No other British company provides this level of support and many don’t state their guide to client ratio! You will not be required to carry any group gear (tents, stoves, shovels, fuel) or food and we will work with you in the months preceding your expedition to help you identify the very lightest kit possible to further reduce your load to around 12kg. Your guide will assist you with tent placement, cooking and water preparation at the high camps. The expedition will still be physically challenging (all 7000m peaks are!) and you will still have to work hard to reach the summit but you will probably have the lightest load and the a greater depth of support and flexibility.

Why Adventure Peaks offers the best opportunity to summit. Things to ask;

  • What is your guide to client ratio
    Adventure Peaks gives 1:2 on Highly supported or 1:4 on our classic expedition
  • Are all guides allowed/capable of leading independently on the mountain, some include assistant guides who are not allowed to progress to the summit without their lead guide and therefore offers little real flexibility
    All Adventure Peaks  leaders can lead independently giving you the maximum flexibility and opportunity to summit
  • Do clients have to carry food up the mountain (many hide this by stating group gear is carried but omit food which actually totals more than tents!)
    On our highly supported you carry neitherfood nor group equipment, just your personal gear!
    On our classic expedition all gear is carried in two journeys but it shouldn’t total more than 9kg of group gear in any single carry.
  • What is the maximum size group as large groups take longer to get ready and raise the potential for problems and group hold upsreducing your chance of success
    Ours is 6 clients Highly supported or 8 on our Classic expedition
  • How many potential summit days have been included to allow for bad weather
    Adventure Peaks gives 4 summit days
