5th November

Summit Success! Jason and Charlie have reached the Summit of Ama Dablam, the weather was clear and crisp, the views were stunning and they hat the summit to themselves.  They are now back at camp 2.  Tomorrow they head to BC. Jamie has went down as he is full of the cold.

1st November

Jason has called in to say that the team are at Ama Dablam Base Camp.  Charlie and Jason have been up to camp 2 and tomorrow Jamie heads to Yak Camp, before the team move up to camp 1.  The following day the team will move up to stay at Camp 2  with a plan to go for the summit that evening (weather permitting).  At the moment the team are getting fantastic clear skies at night giving them lots of stars to gaze at, although this does make it a bit colder.

28th October

Jason has sent through some pictures from their successful ascent of Island Peak. Now the team are ready and on their way to tackle Ama Dablam. Fingers crossed they get the same stunning weather that they had on Island Peak.

20th October
The team have arrived at Namche Bazaar and today they had their acclimatisation walk up to the visitors center and the Everest View hotel. It was a cloudy day today, but the team have still managed to grab enticing glimpses of Ama Dablam and Everest through the bands of cloud.
