Success for the first Adventure Peaks Ojos team this season. The team have now moved to Argentina for their ascent of Aconcagua.

Adventure Peaks’ first Aconcagua Expedition of this season has been successful due to the perseverance of the team and its leaders in finding a way through the heavy snow and high winds.

The trip has went very well we have had on the whole good health and the boys have been very strong. We are back in Leh and have met up a couple of times with group 2 they are also enjoying themselves and will meet us in Leh tomorrow night where we will celebrate our achievements with pizza.
The South Col is a 70 litre pack, which does sound big but my worry before departure was, would it cope with the kit list and the load carrying on Aconcagua! Also how would it measure up against my old faithful pack that I’ve used on all my expeditions since my first visit to Aconcagua 10 years ago?
