24th June – Both teams reached the summit of Elbrus at 7:30am this morning. An amazing effort by all. We’ve certainly been blessed with the weather this week. We are now all back at the barrels and will have lunch before descending back into the Valley for hot showers and dinner tonight. All the members are very happy with how everything has gone.
9th April – Stu has just sent a report that they arrived back into Kathmandu late this morning. We had a good celebration at the Irish pub in Lukla last night, shooting pool, drinking beer and cocktails, well it was happy hour, before our final slap up meal in the Khumbu.
The group have enjoyed themselves climbing some of the cascades around the hut today. Despite the deep snow we headed over towards the col for Toubkal to a 25m ice fall. The wind was still whip ping around and there was sign of the sun but it didn’t stop us having a play on the ice
