Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on \’Checkout\’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept all major credit card payments including Visa and Mastercard.

When a confirmation of your order is received, it indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in case a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Please note that online and in store pricing may differ. Although we are happy to sell a product at our online price in any of our stores, the P&P cost will be added to account for the difference in overheads.

Shipping and handling

We endeavour to process and ship your order within 24 hours and you will normally receive it within 3-5 working / business days but this depends on busy periods and local conditions. If you do want a guaranteed delivery date please choose the 24 or 48 hour delivery option. International (EU) orders are generally received in under 5 days. The statutory time limit for delivery is 30 days from the day after the order has been made.

We are happy to ship orders to worldwide destinations. For items weighing over 2kg we will provide a postage quote even though postage will be £0 at the checkout. You will always be emailed once you have placed the order with a postage quote with no obligation to proceed with the order and a full refund will be given if you decide to not proceed.

Please Note: Foreign customers may be subject to duties, import fees, and taxes imposed by their respective governments. It is your responsibility to contact your government import office to determine if any additional charges from your government may be added your order. These additional charges are not from Adventure Peaks, they are imposed by your countries various government agencies.

Delivery address.

We are not able to deliver to a PO box. You must use a standard postal address. If you do use a PO Box we will not be liable for any postage costs for your item to be returned and sent back out to you.

Must be ordered by 12pm. Tracked delivery by courier with 1 hour delivery window. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday

Guaranteed Saturday Delivery – £12. (Purchase must be made before 11am on Friday)

Tracked delivery by courier on a Saturday with 1 hour delivery window.

We are happy to ship orders to worldwide destinations. For orders over 2kg or very bulky orders we will provide a postage quote even though postage will be £0 at the checkout. This is due to the complex nature of worldwide postage, which is calculated by volumetric weight as opposed to a total weight. You will always be emailed once after you have placed the order with a postage quote with no obligation to proceed with the order.

Airsure

Airsure is generally a day faster than standard Airmail. Which means the aim is: three working days after posting to Western Europe five working days after posting to Eastern Europe and postal subsidiaries (Islands and Principalities) eight working days after posting to the Rest of the World. We track all Airsure items until they leave the UK. The item is then handed over to the destination country’s postal service as a priority item, where it continues to be tracked until delivery.

Returns

  1. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods by notifying us within 7 working days from receiving the delivery for a full refund or exchange (subject to stock availability). Do this by contacting us by letter or email within 7 days and quoting the order number supplied to you.
  2. The time limit for returning the goods is 14 days from the date of shipment from us to you. For the Christmas Period, all purchases can be returned by January 10th for a refund or exchange.
  3. Your refund will be paid within 30 days of us receiving the goods back to store.
  4. You are responsible for the postage cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.
  5. When returning an item for an exchange, i.e. for another size or colour please be aware a small fee will apply to cover postage, packaging and restocking.
  6. We will notify you of the exact amount before sending out the replacement item.
  7. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or wrongly described. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition with original package and labels.

  9. Please note that we are unable to accept returns of any Personal Protective Equipment including climbing equipment and helmets unless faulty. This would be dealt with under warranty and returns.
  10. All products are guaranteed against failure due to defective workmanship or materials, but this excludes faults caused by accidents, neglect or misuse. The guarantee is in line with the guarantee policy stipulated by the product manufacturer.
