Congratulations to the team on their successful Elbrus Expedition!

The team – Brian, Kaleb, Christopher, Rhiannon, Shabia, Matthew, Rikki – plus myself and two local guides – Vladimir and Lizza – set off at 3am this morning to attempt to summit Elbrus, 5,642m.

Brian made a magnificent effort but decided to descend at 4,850m. The rest of the team pushed on in superb conditions – solid snow underfoot and blue sky above – and at 10am they reached the summit.
