20th June

100% Summit success! John has been in touch to say that the whole team summited this morning in perfect conditions, and are now back safely in the comfort of the Garabashi Barrels waiting out a snowstorm. Congratulations to our first team of the season!

19th June

The team are up at the (now pine clad and “very posh”) Barrels up on the slopes of Mt. Elbrus, and have been acclimatising well. There has been fresh snow on the mountain everyday, but despite this the team will make an attempt on the summit in the next few days.

17th June

The team are down from a great two days up at Mukal, and everyone is acclimatising well. The weather has been warm in the mornings, and stormy in the afternoons, but everyone has made the tents each and every time, so good going. Tomorrow the team heads up to the Barrels on the slopes of Elbrus.

14th June

The team have all arived safely, and are sorting out kit before heading our on their acclimisation trip tomorrow.
