9th August

Success for the team on Khan Tengri! We have had a quick update to say that the team reached the summit on 7th August. More details to follow.

6th August

The team have phoned in to say they are at camp 3.

2nd August

Jason called this morning with an update. The team are now back at Base Camp having been up to Camp 1 and Camp 2 on their acclimatisation programme, and made all their carries up the mountain. They are having a rest day today and will head up again tomorrow.

27th July 

Jason called in to say the team helicoptered in to Base camp then after a rest day thy went up to Camp 1 and back to sleep at Base camp. They will move up to camp 1  spend a couple of nights there and stock camp 2 as part of their acclimatisation programme before returning to Base Camp.  There has been a fair amount of fresh snow.

24th July

The team all arrived safely in Bishkek and have done their food shopping and final preparations for the mountain. Tomorrow they will helicopter into Khan Tengri Base Camp at 3900m and are looking forward to the spectacular views that they’ll get at base camp up into the mountains.
