9th Jan – The final team members flew home in the early hours of this morning.

4th Jan SUCCESS – All the team reached the summit of Uhuru Peak on Kilimanjaro this morning. The team are tired but jubilant. They will have their last night of camping at Mweka tonight before trekking back down to Mweka gate and then travelling back to Moshi. A big ‘well done’ to all the team.

1st Jan – Dave and the team wish everyone a happy New Year. They are now at Karanga Valley camp, which is above 4000m. The altitude is being felt by the team but all are coping well.

31st Dec – The team are now at Barranco hut after a long days walk, 12kms and up to 4600m in altitude. All the team are recovering well at camp and are in good spirits.

30th Dec – The team arrived at Shira camp (3800m) today just in time for lunch. The team are now relaxing in readiness for a long day tomorrow.

29th Dec – Dave sent a message in to say that all the team are now at Machame camp. All the team are well and in good spirits.

28th Dec – The team have now all arrived safely at the hotel and rest and have their briefing before setting off for the start of the trek tomorrow.

19th Dec – The team will depart the UK on the 27th December.
