10th Oct – The team have now reached Mwenzi Tarn, the weather has not been favourable today with wind and rain and a temperature of 0 degrees. The team are finding the conditions challenging but are managing ok. Tomorrow the team will have an acclimitization day at Mwenzi Tarn.

9th Oct – The team have now reached Kikelewa caves at 3600m and all the team are fine.

5th Oct– The team will depart the UK on the 7th October.

There is nowhere quite like Kilimanjaro with it’s varied ecological climates that you progress through en-route to the highest point in Africa. If you are looking for a good introduction to high altitude trekking whilst taking in a summit then look nowhere else Kilimanjaro has got it all.
