Meet Our Leaders
Managing Director
Dave Pritt is the Director of Adventure Peaks. With over 30 years of mountaineering feats, he is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has led expeditions to K2, Broad Peak and five Everest expeditions. Dave has completed the 7 summits, led an expedition to Ski the South Pole Last Degree, Satopanth in India and in 2007 he guided Ian McKeever to break the world record for the seven summits in 156 days. He is lucky enough to have climbed on the majority of our advertised peaks, but the Tien Shan remains his favourite destination.
Logistics Manager
Stu Peacock is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has been to the Summit of Everest, Broad Peak, Cho Oyu, Manaslu and climbed on K2. His other expeditions include: Ama Dablam, Annapurna IV, Peak Lenin, Aconcagua, Khan Tengri, Tien Shan Unclimbed, Korzhenevskaya, Himlung Himal, Baruntse, Mera & Island Peak, Alpamayo, Bolivian Peaks, Spantik, Carstensz Pyramid, Elbrus, MtArarat, Mexican Volcanoes, Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro. He was the first Brit to summit Everest via the North Ridge 3 times and has climbed Everest from both the North & South sides.
Expedition Logistics
Carrie Gibson has traveled on many of our expeditions including Everest North Ridge, Denali, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Island Peak & Ama Dablam. Carrie is also the first British woman to summit Himlung Himal.
Chris Mothersdale has been climbing in the UK, Europe and across the world over a number of decades. He started rock climbing in Yorkshire on Gritstone before taking on larger objectives both in the UK and abroad. Rock climbing progressed to Ice Climbing in Scotland before climbing in the Greater Ranges in Europe, Africa, South and North America and Asia. Mountaineering has enabled him to climb on every continent and to explore many of the the wonders of the world.
Arturo has worked on many of our Mexican Volcanoes trips, but has also led trips for Adventure Peaks to Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Nepal.
Jeff brings a wealth of experiences to our South American trips. He leads our Ojos del Salado expeditions as well as our Bolivian trips.
David holds the highest UK mountaineering qualification - the Winter Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor (WMCI). As part of a long and varied carrier in the outdoor industry working with both children and adults, David has also been involved with the training and assessing of other instructors through the Mountain Training schemes, along with being a fully qualified climbing arborist.
Well known for his strange aversion to all things cheese, he hasn’t let this handicap hold him back from worldwide travel, with personal trips around Europe and New Zealand, and expedition leadership to Norway, Tanzania, the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the Nepalese Himalya, the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, and the Tian Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan.
