10th Sept – The team we’re safely back at camp 1 last night, and are heading down to the town of Dogubayazit today.

10th Sept – The team we’re safely back at camp 1 last night, and are heading down to the town of Dogubayazit today.

9th Sept – After setting off from camp at 3am this morning, the whole team made it to the summit at 7am, congratulations everyone!! Although a little cold and windy, all members of the group were feeling good during the whole accent.

8th Sept – The Acclimatization walk went well yesterday, and the team are now all at camp 2. The weather

has been very good for the duration on the expedition. They are heading for the Summit tomorrow!!!

6th Sept – Stu phoned in today to let us know that they are all doing well, have been walking today to the height of 3300m (camp 1).  They are going to head out tomorrow and aim to get around 4200m to help acclimatize.

5th Sept – The team have arrived in Dogubayazit, the town before heading onto Mt Ararat, and have managed to do a little sight seeing. Everyone is in good spirits and looking forward to the accent in the coming week.

31st Aug – The team departs on the 4th September and will arrive in Van on the 5th.
