Team: Nigel W, Heahter W – Mt Meru,  Ian F, John N, Carlos W, Michael L, Nicholas W, Scott L

11th Sep – All the team reached the summit of Kilimanjaro this morning at 6.30 am. Dean said that the whole team made a great effort to overcome the challenges that Kilimanjaro presented to them.

6th Sep – The group are enjoying their rest day at Mwenzi tarn and are in good spirits. The team have gelled well and there is a good amount of banter amongst the team.

4th Sep – The group all arrived safely and are on their way to the second camp today.

There is nowhere quite like Kilimanjaro with it’s varied ecological climates that you progress through en-route to the highest point in Africa. If you are looking for a good introduction to high altitude trekking whilst taking in a summit then look nowhere else Kilimanjaro has got it all.

29th Aug – Nigel & Heather depart the Uk today to start there trek up Mt Meru. They will then join up with the rest of the group for Kilimanjaro on the 3rd September.

Always knew you'd Jelly well Mike, as for the banter best if you rub some cream on it. Well done and keep going, presumably final summit tomorrow, all wishing you well at JJB. Got a touch of the crampons myself once, that can be pretty nasty, not sure whether banter is worse...
