13th Aug: A quick update from Ben. With deep snow and unfavourable weather predicted the team have made a decision to cancel the summit attempt.

10th Aug: Arrived at camp two 6150m. Brews are on and some well earned rest. Resting tomorrow with an excursion to 6500m then on Sunday we will see how high we can get!

9th Aug: Ben and Dave have started their summit bid having left base camp earlier today for camp one (Mathew has decided to stay behind), the weather is looking good so they hope to move between camps up to camp four and then the summit on consecutive days. It looks like Monday for the summit!!

6th Aug: Just a quick update from Ben. They have been up to an altitude of 5900m but lots of snow  so they are dropping down to stay Base Camp for 1-2 days to rest.

2nd Aug: Ben contacted us today with a brief update. Mike is fine and has decided to go down to Base Camp. The rest of the team are now at Camp 1, and will be heading further up the mountain soon, all are fit and well. We will update further once we hear more.

31st July: Ben called to say the team are now at Base camp where they will spend the next two nights, drinking lots of tea! All are well. They will make a carry up to Camp 1 on Thursday and after another night at BC will all move up to Camp 1 and above. Weather is good at the moment but some snow is expected Thursday  / Friday. Another team has just reached the summit- the first this year.

26th July: Ben called to report they have navigated through the normal (stressful) border bureaucracy and driven to Subashi. Everyone is well and will be Trekking to Base Camp at 3900ft tomorrow.

23rd July: The team have all arrived safely after a long flight. They enjoyed a good meal with other Adventure Peaks clients that have arrived ready for different expeditions in the area. They have time to relax before their Leader Ben arrives tomorrow.

20th July: The team will be flying out tomorrow. Good luck to everyone and enjoy the trip.
