17th January 2026 - Abandoned attempt of Aconcagua

Unfortunately, the trip has ended early due to sickness. After arriving back to Penitentes Paul has been recovering well and will be headed back to Mendoza shortly.

13th January 2026 - Arrival at Plaza de Mulas Base Camp

Paul and Jorge have now arrived in base cmap and tomorrow will make a carry to Camp 1

11th January 2026 - Arrival in Mendoza

Paul departed the UK yesterday, and arrived in Mendoza today. As this is a fast track trip no timeis wasted in getting to the mountain. Permits received, kit checked and away up to Penitentes.
