Today the team assended their main onbjective of Korona Peak at 4860m.
This peak is situated opposite Uchitel peak. The teams ascent of this peak allows them a great view of the Ak-Sai mountains including Korona peak (4860m) their final climb. They will climb the normal route, which follows the South-East side of the peak and provides good training in alpine ridge climbing.
They will then spend the night in the Butsek Hut and prepare for Uchitel Peak tomorrow.
The Team arrive in Bishkek and transfer to their hotel to prepare for their expedition.
