Ala Archa - Alpine Expedition Training - Expedition News 27th June 2026
5th July 2026 - Korona Peak
Today the team assended their main onbjective of Korona Peak at 4860m.
2nd July 2026 - Butsek Peak
This peak is situated opposite Uchitel peak. The teams ascent of this peak allows them a great view of the Ak-Sai mountains including Korona peak (4860m) their final climb. They will climb the normal route, which follows the South-East side of the peak and provides good training in alpine ridge climbing.
They will then spend the night in the Butsek Hut and prepare for Uchitel Peak tomorrow.
27th June 2026 - Arrival
The Team arrive in Bishkek and transfer to their hotel to prepare for their expedition.
