Alpamayo - Expedition News - 4th July 2026

9th July 2026 - Ishinca Base camp

The team have made it through Churup, across to Paltay and on to Cochapampa to collect the mules to go up to Ishinca base camp. In good spirits and acclimatizing well in preperation for thier first summit, Ishinca (5530m).

6th July 2026 - To Huarez

The team embark on their land journey today, heading off on the 7 hours to Huarez, their acclimatization town before the build up to the main event.

4th July 2026 - Departure Day

The team head out to their departure airport for their long journey to Peru.
