Leader: Andreas Choque
In order to avoid the road blocks in La Paz, they have now decided to head directly to Huayna Potosi Base Camp.
Due to road blocks, the team had to alter their plans for the initial acclimatisation stage of the trip, so instead of visiting Lake Titicaca, they have spent their time acclimatising at Valle de Luna, Valle de Las Ánimas, Charquini Laguna Esmeralda and the peak of Chacaltaya at a height of 5300m.
They have now trekked to Condoriri Base Camp, where they will spend the next few days climbing Point Austria, Pyramid Blanca, Pequeno Alpamayo & Condoriri – Ala Derecha.
Today, the team set off to their destination and the beginning of their expedition.
