20th September 2026 - Arrived at Pendant Hut

19th September 2026 - Arrived in Kinabalu National Park

Flowers once every ten years and is largest flower in world. Currently arrived entered Kinabalu national park in readiness for our ascent in the morning to the Pendant hut at 3400m a 1500m day with a 1am start the following day to each Borneo’s highest summit. On the way down the group will then do the world’s highest Via Ferrata

17th September 2026 - Mount Trusmadi approach day to Khiong Point

13th September 2026 - Arrive Sandakan Airport

Dave Pritt is the Director of Adventure Peaks. With over 30 years of mountaineering feats, he is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has led expeditions to K2, Broad Peak and five Everest expeditions. Dave has completed the 7 summits, led an expedition to Ski the South Pole Last Degree, Satopanth in India and in 2007 he guided Ian McKeever to break the world record for the seven summits in 156 days. He is lucky enough to have climbed on the majority of our advertised peaks, but the Tien Shan remains his favourite destination.

This great adventure combines the ascent of Mt Mulu Api Pinnacles, Mt Kinabalu and remote Mt Trusmadi with nature, the jungle and flora like entering the world of ‘Lord of the Rings’. It gives the thrills of the world’s highest Via Ferrata from the most beautiful mountain view in Malaysia and visits Turtle Island and the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.
