We've had confirmation from Robin of summit success on Himlung Himal and the team are now making their way back down the mountain.
The team have establsihed Camp 3 at the bottom of the ice wall below the col. They will make their summit attempt from here tonight. The forecast is looking good and we wish them all well.
The team are now back at basecamp after a successful rotation to camp 2. Everyone is ready for a couple of days rest before continuing on up the mountain.
The team have now made the short trek to base camp today. Nelli wasn't feeling great, so decided to stay at Phu until she feels better.
Today we walked from Chyako to Phu, and went for an acclimatisation hike to a viewpoint at 4710m.

Robin is an IFMGA and British Mountain Guide, and was involved with Adventure Peaks’ Alpine courses from their inception. He has led professional and private expeditions to South America, Africa, Indonesia, Central Asia, Antarctica, the Arctic and the Himalaya. He has summitted Everest as a guide for Adventure Peaks, together with 6 clients and 5 Sherpas. Robin is a regular Adventure Peaks leader, and recently successfully led our first expedition to Lhotse.
