Unfortunatly the team arrived and had to make the decision not to continue with the summit attempt due to bad weather, all are still in good spirits as they make their way back down over the coming days
30th September 2025 - Visit Tengboche
The team make the long trek up from the river to the monastery, taking in superb views of Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
28th September 2025 - Arrival in Namche Bazaar
The team all arrive in Namche Bazaar today after making their way up from Lukla

About Nathan Bursnell
Nathan is a passionate hiker and climber who discovered a love for the mountains despite originally hailing from the famously flat lands of Norwich. Now rarely far from steep ground, he spends much of his time trad climbing in the local area, with regular trips to the Peak District to enjoy classic British rock routes.
Beyond the UK, he has experience sport climbing in Greece, Spain and even Thailand, alongside a growing passion for high-altitude and alpine environments. His mountaineering highlights include summiting Island Peak in Nepal and visiting Everest Base Camp, as well as completing a range of alpine climbs around Chamonix, including successful ascents of Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.
