Mount Elbrus

CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Welll done to all of our team and guides on Mount Elbrus who reached the summit today! The weather was cold but very clear. Its been a great day for them.
7th October
After flying to Mineralyne Vody the group transfered through the Upper Baksan Valley to our hotel which will be the base for the expedition.
Our first walk takes us up the Syltran-Su valley to the beautiful Syltrankle Lake at 3200m.
Over the next two days we take in the great views of Mount Elbrus while we acclimatise on Mount Cheget and Mount Terskol.
The hotel is a great location to reorganise and recheck kit before moving up to the barrels.
